Building C recognised for Innovation at BCO National Awards
8th October 2025Bell Hammer office development Assembly Bristol shortlisted for Innovation at the BCO National Awards.
Following Building C’s Innovation Award win at the South of England regional BCO awards (read more here), Assembly Bristol’s Building C has also received recognition in the BCO National Awards in the same category.
Building C was recognised for being a striking addition to the city’s waterfront, converting a vacant brownfield site into a vibrant, sustainable commercial space. Its use of modern methods of construction, off-site prefabrication, self-finished materials and connection to Bristol’s heat network underscores its sustainability-first ethos, while its amphitheatre seating and new public realm reflect a commitment to community engagement.
While Building C didn’t take home the main prize at last night’s Awards dinner – hosted by Sally Phillips of Bridget Jones’ fame – this is further recognition of the development, which blends strong architectural expression with environmental credentials, including BREEAM Excellent, EPC A, and WiredScore Platinum.
Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing Assembly Bristol to life alongside Bell Hammer: AXA, AHMM, Arup, Hoare Lea, Macgregor Smith, Gardiner & Theobold, Currie & Brown, Savills, JLL, Lambert Smith Hampton and Galliford Try.
